Apriva LLC has released the Apriva Secure Communication Suite, which its ISS division designed to help secure mobile communications, the Scottsdale, Ariz.-based company announced Oct. 3.
The product provides secure voice, email and data communications for mobile applications, the division said in a press release.
“Interception and eavesdropping of mobile communications is an increasing threat, and the damages can be incalculable when sensitive information … (is) snatched out of the airwaves,” Jeff Ford, Apriva ISS president, said in the release.
“For the very reason that networks employ firewalls and internal security measures, communications from smartphones and other mobile devices need to be authenticated, encrypted, and reliable,” Ford said.
