First Data Launching Gateway

ISO & Agent Weekly | Thursday, December 29, 2011

First Data Corp. has introduced Global Gateway e4, an online payment gateway that offers what the company regards as safe and reliable processing for card-not-present transactions, the transaction processor announced Dec. 13.

The service also includes a suite of payment services with the capacity to expand payment acceptance globally, the Atlanta-based company said in a press release.

Global Gateway e4 gives merchants a broader set of processing capabilities, a more intuitive user interface, greater reporting capabilities, and simplified integration, documentation and processes to make them more competitive in today’s marketplace, First Data said.

Global Gateway e4 also delivers advanced services, including multicurrency processing, Level III support for business-to-business procurement cards, fraud tools and an added layer of security with First Data’s TransArmor tokenization, the processor said.
